parts of Mason County and Campbell County.

Holiday Dinner is December 3, 2013
In keeping with tradition, the Bracken County Historical Society will gather at the Parkview Inn in Augusta on Tuesday, December 3rd at 6:30 PM for the Annual Holiday Dinner Meeting. Steve and Bob Meyers will provide an evening of musical entertainment. Officers for the upcoming year will be installed by Judge-Executive Earl Bush and the Society will present two Living History Awards. Come join us for a musical evening, a delicious meal, beautiful
decor and fellowship with others interested in the history of Bracken County. The evening will close with a drawing for door prizes.
Cost for the evening is $15.00 per person payable that evening which includes tax and tip. Call the Society Office at (606) 735-3337 to reserve your seat by November 30th. If leaving your reservations on the answering machine, please include your phone number.

http://www.battleofaugusta.com This site just won an award year from the Kentucky Historical Society. It was created by a couple of young men who got interested in helping with this project and they created this interactive web-page. The award for was for creativity and using technology to present history.
